Being an ICC-certified Incoterms® trainer means that the trainer has passed the ICC Academy Trainer Examination, which tests the trainer’s understanding of the new Incoterms® 2020 rules.
Only ICC National Committees and Groups may appoint candidates to receive this qualification. If ICC Academy receives an application from an individual, they will direct the person to the relevant National Committee or Group. The qualification is valid for use in the country/territory of the National Committee or Group for a period of two years (renewable).

Candidates interested in becoming an ICC Registered Trainer on Incoterms® 2020 in Switzerland have to apply to ICC Switzerland, inclucing a CV, via .
ICC Switzerland will review the application according to an open and fair selective process, in compliance with the general charter communicated by ICC. If the requirements are met, ICC Switzerland will send a nomination to the ICC Academy, recommending the candidate for the ICC Academy Trainer Examination. After the initial nomination, the candidate will be contacted by ICC Academy directly for the further steps.

After passing the ICC Academy Trainer Examination, a Swiss trainer may use the qualification “ICC Registered Trainer on Incoterms® 2020 in Switzerland”.
